LIFE SCIENCES: Grades 10 to 12

Life Sciences involve the systematic study of life in the normal and human-made environment.  The study focuses on the understanding of basic life processes and the interrelationship and interdependence of components of the living and the physical world.  Scientific enquiry, problem-solving, critical thinking and application of knowledge are essential skills.  Through the understanding of the relationships between Life Sciences, technology, environment and society, learners develop attitudes and values of responsible citizens.

This is a 3 year course that deals with basics in Grade 10 and building on that base in Grade 11 and 12.
