ES OF BEHAVIOUR

The Code of Conduct underpins all codes of behaviour. The objective is to develop
a PBHS gentleman who essentially embodies, among other character traits, the
essence of being morally sound, considerate, tolerant and disciplined. A copy of
the Code of Conduct is distributed to all learners annually.

PARENT CONTACT WITH THE SCHOOL Pinetown Boys High School PINETOWN BOYS’ HIGH SCHOOL

It is expected of every parent to monitor their son’s academic progress. It is the Prospectus 2017
policy of the school to welcome contact with the parent on any matter pertaining
to the learner’s well-being. When parents wish to contact the school, they may Bravely into all things
arrange an interview a day or two in advance, through the school secretary, so
reports from individual teachers can be gathered by phase management. In this
way, interviews will prove meaningful and productive.

An introduction evening is held for all new parents and learners at the start of the
school year. In addition, parent evenings are held at specific times of the school
year to discuss learners’ progress. The phase management for each grade serve
as tutors for the learners under their care and learners are encouraged to
approach them on any matter which may cause the learner concern.
